MODAL's Event Terms

These terms apply to all events organised or conducted by MODAL Pty Ltd (MODAL) and are binding upon the registering organisation (you) and any of your registering and/or attending representatives (representative).

1. Payment is due in full at the time of, or immediately following, registration.


2. Your registration will be confirmed once payment is finalised.


3. You may substitute proposed representatives at any time prior to the event.


4. In the event that you wish to cancel attendance, then any cancellations received in writing more than seven (7) days prior to the event MODAL will provide you with a 100% refund or credit to be used at another MODAL event.   For cancellations received seven (7) days or less prior to an event (including day 7), no credit or refund will be issued.


5. In the event that MODAL cancels an event, all payments received from you at the date of cancellation will be refunded.


6. In the event that MODAL postpones an event, payments received at the postponement date will be credited towards the rescheduled date. If any representative is unable to attend the rescheduled event, you will receive a 100% credit representing payments made towards a future MODAL event. No refunds will be available for postponements.


7. MODAL has confirmed speakers and topics at the time of promotion, however, various circumstances may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics.  As such, MODAL reserves the right to alter or modify the promoted speakers and/or topics if necessary. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.


8. MODAL is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation or postponement of an event.


9. MODAL values your privacy. The personal details you provide via our website enable us to efficiently communicate with you and provide relevant information on our services. Your details are kept in a secure database accessed only by MODAL staff. These details are not passed on to or broadcast to anyone other than MODAL event partners.


10. These terms and conditions are subject to the laws and jurisdiction of Western Australia.
